Spa Avalon was able to coordinate 3 massages at the same time for myself and 2 friends. This made for a wonderful girls afternoon. My own massage was well done and all three of us were happy with our experience.

Although the atmosphere seems to be calm and soothing upon first glance, the walls are very thin and I was able to clearly hear the front desk phone ringing and every conversation taking place in the front area during my entire session.

When I first walked into Spa Avalon, I was instantly soothed by the beautiful sea foam blue walls and cozy atomosphere. I was 32 weeks pregnant and so excited and in need of a good massage. Unfortunately, that didn't happen.

I have had many massages in my life and, actually, I am a massage therapist as well...but I can honestly say that was the worst massage I have ever received. I cannot speak about any of the other services, but I do know that I will never go back.

Love this place

Really unprofessional service. Booked two massages for a birthday surprise two weeks in advance. 30 minutes before we are supposed to arrive with our special guests the spa called and cancelled one of the appointments. They offered no solutions. REALLY? You are a service business. I would strongly NOT recommend Spa Avalon.

I have had plenty of decent massages at Michelle's Salon, but wanted to try someplace new. My BIG mistake!

I love spa avalon, i love how small and private everything is. Massage therapists are hit or miss and as for the cancellations of the massages, i have had elizabeth ardens red door spa cancel an appt on me the same morning and did nothing to reimburse me. So for a nice local spot that uses all organic products i think it is a wonderful spa, i am very loyal to them and will stick up for those girls they work very hard to make everyone feel happy and welcome!

My first disappointment was that the salon didn't have the proper equipment to do a prenatal massage (an accessory for the massage table that allows a pregnant client to lay on their stomach). This is something that I wouldn't expect to find in a salon but I think that a spa should have. I got over that quickly and reminded myself that any massage feels better than no massage. The woman who worked on me seemed to be inexperienced (which isn't always bad). She was extremely systematic in her massage techniques and didn't seem to really find the areas that needed the most work. It was light, superficial and uninspired at best. I was completely uncomfortable in the side lying position and actually felt that my low back was worse when I left. Totally inexcusable for a place that considers themselves to be a SPA.
